Abstract

An optical converter wheel, a method of producing, and a method of using are provided. The wheel includes an inorganic converter material that converts light of a first wavelength into light of a second wavelength and a converter substrate. The converter substrate has a coefficient of thermal expansion CTEof 4 to 18×101/K in a range from 20° C.-300° C. and a thermal conductivity of at least 50 W/mK at 20° C.
