Abstract

A control system () for controlling a cooling system comprising two or more cooling entities () is disclosed. The control system comprises a central control unit (), two or more entity controllers (), each entity controller () being associated with one of the cooling entities (), and each entity controller () being provided with a nearfield communication interface () allowing communication between the entity controller () and a portable device (), via a nearfield communication channel, and a secured communication network () connecting the central control unit () with each of the entity controllers (). The central control unit () is configured to generate blocking signals and/or unblocking signals and communicate the blocking signals and/or unblocking signals to each of the entity controllers (), via the secured communication network (). Each of the entity controllers () is configured to block and/or unblock the nearfield communication interface (), in accordance with received blocking signals and/or unblocking signals.
