Abstract

Techniques for providing network connection plans for computing devices planning to travel along a pre-specified route are disclosed herein. In an example, crowd-sourced data is used to generate a network map that includes network parameters mapped to one or more geographical locations. The network map is used to generate a network connection plan for a computing device planning to travel along a pre-specified route. The computing device may then connect to one or more wireless networks according to the network connection plan while traveling along the pre-specified route.
