Abstract
This electrical socket connector () includes a base portion, connection pins () arranged on an elongated portion () protruding from the base portion and a metallic ground shield () laterally surrounding the elongated portion (). The ground shield () is divided between a first half () and a second half () which are separate and electrically insulated from each other.
