Abstract
A system or method for determining a battery state can include characterizing a response of a plurality of batteries to an applied load, generating a set of models based on the response of the plurality of batteries to the applied load, measuring battery properties of a battery using a sensor, and using a state estimator to determine a battery state associated with a battery.
