Abstract
The invention relates to a vibration absorber ring () for fastening a gas generator () to a vehicle steering wheel (), in a manner capable of vibrating, with a ring axis (A), a support portion () for fastening the vibration absorber ring () to a holding element, and an absorber portion () for fastening the gas generator () to the vibration absorber ring (), wherein an elastic damping element () is provided, which extends in the axial direction from the absorber portion () towards a free end () and, between the absorber portion () and the free end (), has a fastening element () for the gas generator (), wherein the support portion () and the absorber portion () are spaced apart from each other in the axial direction.
