Abstract

The present invention maintains sealing of the housing over a long period of time. A multiple-optical-axis photoelectric sensor () includes a light projector () and a light receiver () whose external forms are each formed by a housing () including an outer case () constituted by a main body case () and a first cap member (), a light-transmitting plate (), a first pressing member (A), second pressing members (B), a first adhesive tape (A), and second adhesive tapes (B). The first cap member () has a supporting part () provided on its inner side, and an elastic member () is provided between the second pressing member (B) and a portion of the light-transmitting plate () supported by the supporting part (). The light-transmitting plate () is pressed toward the first cap member () via the elastic member ().
