Abstract
A female terminal () to be connected to an end of a wire () is provided with a wire connecting portion () including a base () and first and second pinching portions () extending along an extending direction from the base () and configured to pinch the wire (), and a sliding portion () movable along the extending direction and including first pressing portions (A,B) and second pressing portions (A,B) for pressing the first and second pinching portions () toward the wire () by coming into contact with the first and second pinching portions (). The first pressing portions (A,B) and the second pressing portions (A,B) project toward the first and second pinching portions () and are side by side at an interval in a direction intersecting the extending direction.
