Abstract
The invention proposes a stator for a rotating electric machine, in particular for a motor vehicle, the stator () including: —a body () including notches () that are opened radially into an internal wall () of said body, —at least one winding () forming a phase of the stator, the winding formed from turns () includes a first half-phase () and a second half-phase () that are superposed radially in the notch (), each turn including a series of axial strands () that are received in a series of associated notches and connecting strands () that connect the successive axial strands () by extending alternatively to protrude with respect to the body (). A length of wire of each turn of one of the half-phases is larger than the length of wire of each turn of the other half-phase. Furthermore, one of the half-phases has a number of turns higher than that of the other half-phase.
