Abstract

A heat pump system for a vehicle has a first cooling device including a first radiator and a first water pump connected through a first coolant line and circulating a coolant to cool an electrical component and a motor through the first coolant line, a second cooling device including a second radiator and a second water pump connected through a second coolant line, a battery module provided on a battery coolant line selectively connectable to the second coolant line through a first valve, a first chiller provided on the battery coolant line and connected to an air-conditioning device and making the coolant exchange heat with a refrigerant supplied from the air-conditioning device, a second chiller selectively connectable to the first coolant line through a second valve, and a heat exchanger provided in the air-conditioning device and connected to the first and second coolant lines and the refrigerant line.
