Abstract

Build material application device () for an apparatus () for additively manufacturing at least one three-dimensional object () by means of successive layerwise selective irradiation and consolidation of layers of build material () which can be consolidated by means of at least one energy beam (), the build material application device () comprising: —at least one build material application element () configured to apply an amount of build material () in a build plane (E) of a respective apparatus () for additively manufacturing at least one three-dimensional object (); —at least one spatter removal element () configured to remove spatters () present in a layer of build material () of a respective apparatus () for additively manufacturing a three-dimensional object (), particularly to remove spatters () originating from a selective irradiation of the respective layer of build material ().
