Abstract

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to applying access control to streamed media content. A log-in request to a media streaming service is received. A biometric sample is received from a user. The biometric sample is compared to a biometric template to determine whether the user is an authorized user. In response to determining that the user is an authorized user, the biometric sample is analyzed to determine an age of the user. Access control is then applied to media content accessed through the media streaming service based on the determined age.
