A closure devicethat closes a wound on a skin includes a pair of sheet membersthat have an axial direction da and a width direction db orthogonal to the axial direction da and face each other with a spaceprovided in the width direction db, and a plurality of closure elementsthat are attached to the pair of sheet membersacross the spaceand arranged in the axial direction da. The closure elementrespectively include basesand adjustersthat are arranged on the pair of sheet membersto face each other across the space, and drawstringsthat extend from the basesand engage with the adjusters. The pair of sheet membersinclude a plurality of slitsprovided in a plurality of areas, each of the plurality of areas being provided between pairs of the closure elementsadjacent to each other.
