Abstract

An electric supercharger that can reduce vibration amplitude in an end of a shaft due to rotational vibration is provided. An electric superchargercomprises: an impellerfor supercharging a fluid by rotation; an impeller chamberfor accommodating the impeller; a motorfor driving the impellerto rotate; and a motor chamberfor accommodating the motor. An openingis provided between the impeller chamberand the motor chamberwherein the fluid is able to pass therethrough. Seal structuresare provided for separating the motor chamberfrom the exterior at portions other than the opening
