Abstract

Disclosed is an artificial heart and lung apparatus () that can be connected to a patient (P), and transfers removed blood to a human body via a roller pump (), the system including: the roller pump (); a blood removal line () which transfers removed blood to the roller pump (); a first blood transfer line () that transfers blood, which is transferred from the roller pump (), to the human body; a blood removal rate sensor () that is provided in the blood removal line (); and a control unit (), in which the control unit () performs control such that a blood transfer rate of the roller pump () is in a specific range with respect to a blood removal rate measured by a blood removal rate sensor ().
