Abstract
A downhole expandable liner hanger positioned in a subterranean wellbore. The liner hanger may comprise a liner and an expansion element. The expansion element may comprise one or more seal elements bonded to the expansion element in an open-ended containment system, wherein each of the one or more seal elements is a nanoreinforced rubber element comprising a polymer host and a plurality of nanostructures.
