Abstract
The present invention relates a device () for producing batches () of products () from a plurality of products (), said batches having a predefined configuration for palletizing in layers carried out downstream, said device comprising an upstream conveyor () which extends in a first conveying direction () and on which the products () are aligned in a row (), a downstream receiving surface () intended to receive said batches, and a moving means () intended to transfer the products () brought by the upstream conveyor () to the downstream receiving surface (). The moving means () comprises a main rail () and a plurality of shuttles () that are movable independently of one another and travel on said rail (), each shuttle being intended to receive at least one product () on its upper surface. The present invention also relates an installation comprising this device and a corresponding method.
