Abstract
There is provided a method of forming a hydrocyclone body including assembling sintered alumina blocks () against a form (), holding the blocks () in place with tape (), locating a hydrocyclone housing over the blocks (), filling a space between them with settable epoxy/ceramic composite to secure the blocks () to the casing, and removing the form (), resulting in a substantially continuous, wear resistant surface.
