Abstract
There is provided a power supply devicefor switching power to an output linebetween a first power supplyand a parallel second power supply. The power supply devicecomprises: a first converterconnected to the first power supplyand configured to output a first voltage in a first predetermined range; and a second converterconnected to the second power supplyand configured to output a second voltage in a second predetermined range. The outputs of the first and second convertersare connected together on the output line, and the first and second convertersare arranged to maintain a voltage on the output linewithin a third predetermined range.
