Abstract
Ultra-reconfigurable reflectarrays using vanadium dioxide (VO) are provided, as well as methods of fabricating and using the same. The ultra-reconfigurable reflectarrays operate based on the unique phase-change properties of VO, by including a heating element configured to heat desired areas of a VOlayer/reflector, such that the VOreflector/layer can be reconfigured to have a desired pattern heated (and therefore changed to a conducting state) at a given time, with a good spatial resolution of the desired pattern.
