Abstract
Provided is a solar cell, comprising a first electrode having a light-transmissive property, a second electrode, a light-absorbing layer located between the first electrode and the second electrode, and an intermediate layer located between the first electrode and the light-absorbing layer. The light-absorbing layer contains a fluorine compound and a perovskite compound which is represented by a chemical formula ASnX(where A is a monovalent cation and X is a halogen anion). The intermediate layer contains at least one selected from the group consisting of a metal oxide, a metal sulfide, a metal chalcogenide, and a metal nitride. An upper surface of the intermediate layer is in contact with a lower surface of the light-absorbing layer. A molar ratio of fluorine atoms to the perovskite compound is not less than 49% at an interface between the light-absorbing layer and the intermediate layer.
