Abstract

Glasses comprising SiO, AlO, and POthat are capable of chemical strengthened by ion exchange and having high damage resistance. These phosphate-containing glasses have a structure in which silica (SiO) is replaced by aluminum phosphate (AlPO) and/or boron phosphate (BPO).
