Abstract
A relay terminal () transmits selection assistance information to a remote terminal (). The selection assistance information includes a first information element transmitted from a base station () and received by the relay terminal (). The first information element indicates at least one of: (a) a frequency band of the base station (); a system bandwidth; downlink transmission power; UL/DL configuration; the number of cells provided to the relay terminal; a type of a cell; a RAT or a communication scheme used between the base station () and the relay terminal (); and a name or identifier of a mobile operator providing the base station. This is thus, for example, possible to contribute to improving appropriateness of a relay selection.
