Abstract

A radio communication system () according to the present disclosure includes a base station () that transmits transmission data, a radio terminal () that receives the transmission data from the base station () and transmits an acknowledgement for the transmission data to the base station (). The radio terminal () transmits communication quality information measured for a communication status between the radio terminal () and the base station () to the base station (). The base station () determines control information for controlling a process of the radio terminal () to transmit the acknowledgement based on the communication quality information received from the radio terminal (), and transmits the control information to the radio terminal (). The radio terminal () receives the control information from the base station (), and transmits the acknowledgement to the base station () based on the control information.
