Abstract
User interface and method for contactlessly operating a hardware operating element in a 3-D gesture mode. The invention proposes a user interface and a method for contactlessly operating a hardware operating element (), called 'button' below, of a user interface in a 3-D gesture mode, by means of which the user interface can be operated using gestures freely carried out in space, called 3-D gestures below. The method comprises the steps of: —detecting () a user's hand (), —assigning () the hand () to an area of the user interface (I) assigned to the button (), and, in response thereto, —outputting () a suggestion () to the user.
