Abstract
A display device is proposed, the display device including a display panel and a driving circuit, and pixels included in the display panel includes a driving transistor, a light emitting element, a capacitor, and first to sixth switching transistors Tto T. Tsenses threshold voltage of the driving transistor, the capacitor stores data voltage and a threshold voltage in both electrodes, Tapplies data voltage to the capacitor, Tinitializes the storage capacitor to reference voltage, and Tinitialize the light emitting element to reference voltage, Tcontrols current flow between the driving transistor and the light emitting element, and Tconnects both electrodes of the capacitor. The driving circuit divides one frame into an initialization period, a program period, and a light emission period to drive a pixel, and stops light emission of the light emitting device and make equal voltage across the capacitor, in the initialization period.
