Abstract

A method and system for identifying one or more investigative sites (sites) of a clinical trial are described. Data may be received for a proposed clinical trial and deriving at least one key word term based on the data. Next, a search may be conducted in a biomedical database to uncover one or more codes associated with key word term(s). Subsequently, a health ontology mapper (HOM) boolean logic statement (bool) may be generated based on the one or more codes obtained from the biomedical database. The HOM bool is then transmitted to sites and/or accountable care organizations (ACOs) so each may conduct local searches using the HOM bool within local and restricted proprietary patient databases. Filtered matching patient data may be sent back to a sponsor. Prospective sites may be solicited for request for proposals (RFPs) in which one or more sites bid for the clinical trial.
