Abstract

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing a set of program instructions installed on and executed by a computer in an information processing apparatus having a communication interface. The set of program instructions is for inputting data into a printer via the communication interface. The set of program instructions includes a set of first program instructions controlling the computer to function as a module to communicate with a higher-level module than the module. The set of first program instructions includes acquiring a specific value through an API to which the higher-level module inputs the specific value, and acquiring a printer characteristic value dependent on a type of the printer. The set of first program instructions includes generating a setting value by using the specific value and the printer characteristic value, and outputting the generated setting value to the higher-level module.
