Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a microorganism producing L-lysine and a method for producing L-lysine by using the same. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a microorganism of the genus, which is modified such that the activity of a protein involved in cell wall hydrolysis is inactivated in comparison with the endogenous activity thereof; and a method for producing L-lysine using the same.
