Abstract

A sensor system (), a method of manufacturing a flexible electronics patch () for use in a sensor system () and a method of manufacturing a sensor system (). The sensor system () comprises—at least one analyte sensor () configured for at least partial implementation into a body tissue of a user; —at least one flexible electronics patch (), the flexible electronics patch () comprising—at least one applicator unit () for applying the flexible electronics patch () to the skin () of the user; and —at least one second adhesive layer () for adhering the flexible electronics patch () to the applicator unit () before applying the flexible electronics patch () to the skin () of the user.
