Abstract

A light-emitting material containing a compound represented by the general formula (1) is capable of achieving an excellent external quantum efficiency on using in an organic light-emitting device. Rto Rrepresent a hydrogen atom or a substituent, provided that at least one of Rto Rrepresents a substituted or unsubstituted carbazolyl group; and Arto Arrepresent a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic ring or heteroaromatic ring.
