Abstract
The invention relates to a method for verifying a character to be displayed on a screen, compared to a reference character. The character to be displayed and the reference character each comprise at least several characteristic points. The method comprises: The character to be displayed is considered correct only if the computed deviation is below the predetermined threshold.
