Abstract
The invention relates to a method to initiate the use of cryptography and authentication methods and to perform these methods. The method comprises the steps of: generating a URI (), calling () a communication component () using the generated URI and a proprietory URI scheme; performing () the cryptography and authentication method by the local communication component (); generating () at least one result () by the communication component ().
