Abstract
In an assembled batterydisclosed herein, unit cellsA,B are electrically connected to each other by way of bus barsthat extend along an array direction X of the unit cells. The bus barsof the assembled batteryare each provided with a basein which a plurality of terminal insertion holes, into which electrode terminalsof the unit cellsA,B are inserted, are formed, and with junction projections, which are present along the electrode terminals, extending from respective regions of the baseadjacent to the terminal insertion holes. In the assembled batterydisclosed herein, the electrode terminalsare in surface contact with the junction projections, and tipsof the electrode terminalsand tipsof the junction projectionsare welded to each other. As a result, the electrode terminalsand the bus barscan be welded to each other while a welding state is checked.
