Abstract
A light emitting device () includes a plurality of light emitting portions () and an inorganic layer (). Each light emitting portion () has an anode (), an organic layer (), and a cathode (). The inorganic layer () spreads over the plurality of light emitting portions (), and continuously covers the plurality of light emitting portions (). Thus, the inorganic layer () seals the plurality of light emitting portions (). The organic layers () of the respective light emitting portions () are spaced apart from each other. Similarly, the cathodes () of the respective light emitting portions () are spaced apart from each other.
