Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a hydrocracking catalyst for preparing a C-Clight aromatic hydrocarbons having an increased BTX content from a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon, a method for preparing the same and a method for preparing a C-Clight aromatic hydrocarbons having an increased BTX content by using the same. More specifically, an effect of obtaining a C-Clight aromatic hydrocarbons having an increased BTX content with a high yield from the byproducts of oil refining and petrochemical processes, which contain polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons such as naphthalene, alkylnaphthalene, etc., can be achieved by using a catalyst in which one or more metal selected from group VIII and one or more metal selected from group VIB are supported on a composite zeolite support of zeolite beta and zeolite ZSM-5.
