Abstract
An air-bag apparatus includes an inflator that generates a gas at a time of an impact input; and a bag body that is inflated and expanded from a seat back of a vehicle seat upon supply of the gas from the inflator, wherein the bag body includes a pair of front extension parts each of which extends in a vehicle frontward direction from each of both sides in a width direction of the seat back, and a front bag that is provided continuously to the front extension part, that is expanded to a vehicle frontward side of an occupant seated on the vehicle seat, and that comes into contact with an upper part of a body of the occupant.
