Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a door protection system () for a vehicle (). The door protection system () includes sensor means () for detecting an object (O) proximal to the vehicle (). Processing means () are provided to process a signal (S, S) received from said sensor means () to determine if the detected object (O) obstructs opening of a vehicle door (). Output means are provided for outputting a suspension control signal (S) to control operation of a vehicle suspension () dependence on determining that the detected object (O) obstructs opening of the vehicle door ().
