Abstract

A sensor () including: an acquisition unit () which can acquire patient identification information so that a patient can be identified by the acquired patient identification information; a storage unit () which stores the patient identification information acquired by the acquisition unit (); a detection unit () which can detect vital information of the patient; an association unit () which associates the patient identification information stored in the storage unit (), with the vital information; and a transmission unit () which can transmit the vital information including the associated patient identification information, to a bedside monitor.
