Abstract

A method of verifying communications between a first phone and a second phone includes the steps of: receiving at a server a communication between the first phone and the second phone, wherein at least one of the first phone and the second phone is designated for retention; at the server, sending the communication to a blockchain to preserve the integrity of the communication; at the server, storing the blockchain information with communication records, so that the communication integrity can be verified against the blockchain; and at the server, sending at least one of the blockchain information and the communication records to an electronic-discovery system so that the communication can be verified against the blockchain.
