Abstract

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, detecting, by a processing system including a processor, a transmission of a signal that identifies an advertisement, transmitting, by the processing system, a first indication of having detected the signal, and transmitting, by the processing system, a second indication of a status of the processing system when the signal is detected.
