Abstract
Phosphors include a CaAlSiNfamily crystal phase, wherein the CaAlSiNfamily crystal phase comprises at least one element selected from the group consisting of Mn, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, and Yb.
