Abstract
Compounds and methods for preparing and using the compounds are disclosed herein. The method for preparing the compounds may include contacting a metal ion or salt thereof with an alkali metal polyphosphate salt in an aqueous medium. The method may also include adding a base to increase a pH of the aqueous medium.
