Abstract
An herbicidal composition comprising one or more compounds of Formula I: where Rand Rare H or taken together with the carbon atoms to which the are attached form a furane ring; Rand Reach independently represent H, —OH or —O—(C-C) alkyl; and Ris H, (C-C) alkyl, —(C-C) alkylene-O-glucoside or —COOH; and an agriculturally acceptable vehicle. There is also disclosed a method for weed control by application of compounds of Formula I and the use of the composition for controlling weeds.
