Abstract

A terminal and a method for transmitting data are provided. The method for transmitting data is applicable to a terminal comprising a LAN-wireless communication module, and the method includes the following. A LAN-wireless communication module is enabled in response to detecting a request for launching a predetermined application. The LAN-wireless communication module is adjusted to operate in an operation mode. An AD-HOC network is established with other terminals via a scanning and connecting operation, a distance between the other terminals and the terminal being less than or equal to a preset distance. Target data is transmitted within the AD-HOC network.
