Abstract
The present invention provides a secondary batteryincluding: a battery casehaving a safety valve; an electrode body; an electrolyte; and a cover memberarranged between the safety valveand the electrode bodyso as to be separated from the safety valve. The electrode bodyis housed in the battery caseso that a lamination surface opposes the safety valve. The cover memberis configured to cover a portion of the battery casein which the safety valveis formed in a state where the cover memberholds the lamination surface of the electrode body
