Abstract
A hydraulic cylinder () comprises a cylinder tube () having a circular slide hole (), a piston unit (), and a piston rod (). The piston unit () has a circular piston body (), packing () that is installed on the outer circumferential portion of the piston body (), a movable member () that is mounted to the outer circumferential portion of the piston body () so as to be able to rotate relative to the piston body (), and a magnet () that is held by a magnet holding unit () of the movable member (). Relative rotation of the movable member () with respect to the cylinder tube () is regulated.
