Abstract

An engine deviceincludes: an exhaust manifolddisposed on one of left and right sides of a cylinder head, and an intake manifolddisposed on the other of the left and right sides of the cylinder head; and a turbochargerthat uses fluid energy of an exhaust gas discharged from the exhaust manifold, to compress fresh air to be flowed into the intake manifold. The turbochargeris constituted by a two-stage turbocharger including a high-pressure turbochargercoupled to the exhaust manifoldand a low-pressure turbochargercoupled to the high-pressure turbocharger. The high-pressure turbochargeris disposed on one of left and right lateral sides of the exhaust manifold, while the low-pressure turbochargeris disposed above the exhaust manifold
