Abstract

A method for preparation of (meth)acrylate esters of polysiloxanes. The method comprises contacting in the presence of zirconium acetylacetonate or hafnium acetylacetonate: (i) a polysiloxane having at least two hydroxyl groups, each of which is attached to a carbon atom, and (ii) a C-Calkyl (meth)acrylate.
