Abstract
A system and method in which, upon receipt of an analysis initiation instruction and regardless of the necessity of any changes in operation at the time of the analysis initiation, an integrated controller of a system control unit notifies other units of analysis initiation and changes the luminescent color of a state indication LED to blue, which is common to each unit. In a liquid supply unit that receives a notification of the analysis initiation, a local controller changes the device status to 'RUN' and changes the luminescent color of a state indication LED to blue. This is also applies to other units. Upon completion of the analysis, the integrated controller notifies each unit of the analysis completion and changes the display color of the state indication LED to green. Each unit also changes the display color of the state indication LED to green.
